Send help to families affected by the Myanmar Earthquake.
Our relief team has mobilized and is on the ground to help with the assessment and immediate crisis response after the devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake. Please join us by giving to our emergency relief fund and fueling our response in the hard-to-reach places.
It's the biggest earthquake to strike Myanmar in decades.
Over 1,700 have been killed. Thousands more are injured and need assistance.
Myanmar had already endured decades of war-inflicted suffering. Then, in the early afternoon of March 28th, a massive 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck the heart of Saigang and Mandalay near the center the country. The damage is catastrophic, with widespread destruction of buildings and infrastructure. The death toll; over 1,700 people and expected to continue to rise.
Our team is on the ground and with our local partners are conducting an assessment and immediate crisis response, focusing on food and other relief supplies.
Before the earthquake, Myanmar was already in the middle of a dire humanitarian crisis, with one-third of the population and 6.3 million children requiring humanitarian assistance. Now the need for support is even greater.
This is our lane: providing rapid emergency relief for communities that were already grappling with the impacts of conflict. Please go with us by making a donation that fuels our team on the ground to support families who've already endured so much.
